Arch. DI Johannes Kislinger

Johannes is the founder and CEO of ah3 Architekten ZT GmbH. He studied architecture at the Vienna University of Technology and as a guest student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna under Prof. Timo Penttilä. As a "Local Government Architect" he was profiled in Papua New Guinea for his specialisation in sustainable construction and developed his own construction program. Christopher Alexander, who he later met in Berkeley / California, had a great influence on his work.

Johannes is a member and founder of many initiatives with an emphasis on a holistic approach to planning and design. He supervises research projects and regularly acts as a consultant and judge at various architectural competitions.

He has been the CEO of ah3 Architekten ZT GmbH in Horn/Lower Austria for over 25 years and he also teaches at the University of Applied Sciences Vienna (Green Building) and is on the board of the umbrella organisation Innovative Gebäude © (Innovative Buildings).
